Context

XTY started as a site meant to bring in bookings - to carry the energy of a set and make it easy for a promoter to get in touch. The second half of the work came off the dance floor: a guest wants to hear a particular track, the DJ is busy, and shouting over the music does not work. The app grew out of that real problem.

What we delivered

The site is a dark-themed landing experience with a club aesthetic, with sections for mashups, mixes, gallery and booking. Design, social graphics, copywriting and hosting came with it. Svi Za Pultom is a separate product: a guest searches Deezer, previews a track, adds a short note and sends the request, and the DJ receives it immediately and can accept, play or decline without leaving their setup. It was built mobile-first, because it is used in a dark, loud room with a drink in hand. The admin panel runs live during the event, with per-night codes and statuses that tell a guest the moment their track is picked. React, Vite and Tailwind on the front end, PHP and MySQL behind it, with rate-limited search and protected admin access.

How it works today

The site runs at xty-music.com and leads into the app as an extension of the live set. Both are on our hosting.

DJ Duo - Website

Official website of the DJ duo XTY - a project I designed and developed to showcase our work, energy, and identity through a simple yet visually strong landing experience. The goal was to instantly communicate the vibe of our performances - without unnecessary scrolling or complexity. The site brings together key elements - mashups, mixes, gallery, and booking - in a way that is fast, clear, and tailored to a nightlife audience. The UI is minimal and dark-themed, with accents inspired by club and festival aesthetics. Special attention was given to typography, spacing, and animations to achieve a modern, high-end feel while keeping performance smooth for mobile users. The structure is built as a landing page with clear sections and call-to-action moments, including integration of a supporting project (XTY Request) as an extension of the live experience. Technically, the site is built using React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS, with a component-driven architecture focused on performance and responsiveness. Each section is modular and easily scalable, allowing quick updates for new mashups, gallery content, or events. This is a project where I combined design, development, and personal branding - the goal wasn’t just to make a good-looking website, but to actively support bookings and strengthen our online presence.

Svi Za Pultom

Some of my best projects start with a real problem. This one started on a dance floor. XTY - Svi Za Pultom is a song request app built for live events - the kind where the energy is high, the DJ is busy, and you really, really want them to play that one song. Guests search Deezer, preview tracks, attach a little personal message, and fire it off to the booth. The DJ gets it instantly and can accept, play, or pass - without ever leaving their setup. I built it mobile-first because that's the only honest way to build something people use in a loud, dimly lit room with a drink in their hand. Speed mattered. Clarity mattered. Every interaction had to work on the first tap. The admin panel runs live during events - real-time request management, night codes to keep things organized, status updates that ping guests the moment their song gets picked. The whole thing had to feel effortless for two very different users at the same time: someone having fun in a crowd, and someone actively running a show. Built with React, Vite, and Tailwind on the frontend; PHP and MySQL on the backend. Rate-limited search, secure admin access, optional push notifications. It's the kind of project that reminded me why I love building things - when the problem is human, the solution has to be too.
