Context

For a photographer the site is not sold by text but by the work, so the task was to put the content first and get the interface out of the way. On top of that, a wide range of fields - from fashion and product photography to real estate and sport - had to read as one coherent portfolio rather than a list.

What we delivered

We built a portfolio site with a layout that walks the visitor through the work, with clearly separated categories and navigation that does not compete with the photographs. Effort went into optimising the visual material and into responsiveness, since photographs are mostly viewed on a phone, where heavy images are what drives a visitor away fastest. Beyond the site we wrote the copy and produced brand assets used off-site, including an email signature design, so the client's communication stays consistent across channels. The site is on our hosting.

In 2026 we redesigned the site. Every category and every blog post now has a page of its own, with its own title and description for search, and every page is generated in advance as finished HTML, so search engines and social networks read it without waiting for JavaScript. Aleksandar edits the photos, categories, blog, logo and client logos himself in a Sanity studio.

How it works today

The site runs at ajcreative-cva.com in Serbian. It has a homepage with an about section, a separate page for each of the eight photography categories, a blog with every post and a contact form. It remains on our hosting and maintenance.

Photographer - Web site

ajcreative-cva.com is the portfolio website of photographer and videographer Aleksandar Jovanović, built to present visual work in a clear, modern and professional way. The focus is on keeping the content first: strong photography, a clean structure and minimal distraction. The site was redesigned in 2026. Each of the eight photography categories and every blog post got a page of its own, and every page is generated in advance as finished HTML with meta and structured data, which helps search and link sharing. Aleksandar edits the photos, categories, blog, logo and client logos himself in a Sanity studio. The homepage carries a slider by field of work, a selection from each category, a strip of brands he has worked with, the latest blog posts and a contact form. Photos open full screen and can be swiped through on a phone. Beyond the website itself, the project also included additional brand elements, such as an email signature design, helping the client keep his communication consistent across channels.

Great collaboration from start to finish. The team was professional, communication was clear and straightforward, and the result was a modern and functional website exactly the way I wanted it to be. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a serious, high-quality website.
