Maestro CRM Platform

About the project
Client CRM Portal is a full-stack, self-hosted CRM system I built to streamline client collaboration for website/app requests without relying on paid SaaS platforms. The project uses a clean PHP and MySQL backend architecture and a React, Vite and Tailwind frontend, with clearly separated admin and client experiences. The backend follows a mini-framework structure (router, request/response layer, middleware, policies, controllers, services) with strict security and multi-tenancy enforcement. Ownership checks are implemented server-side through policy classes, so client users can access only their own data. The system includes session-based authentication, CSRF protection, PDO prepared statements, input validation, and controlled file upload handling. The app covers the complete operational flow: client/project management, task lifecycle management, comments, attachments, time logs, notifications, and reporting. The billing logic is built for hourly work (bug fixes, implementation, maintenance), with estimated vs actual hours, per-task rate overrides, invoice statuses (draft/sent/paid), and filterable report summaries. On the frontend, I used a component-first architecture and a modular API layer, with responsive dashboards for both admin and client users. I also refined UX in key areas: clearer task metadata display, improved comments/attachments readability, and a notification system that aggregates multiple admin actions into a single client-friendly update. This project reflects my product engineering approach end-to-end: architecture, security, business logic, and deploy-ready implementation for shared hosting environments.
